Fire Elemental

This is my entry for ~kankakanka and `PearlEden's fantasy elemental design contest - a fiery cheetah-inspired creature.

Anyway, it's just a quick throw-together in Photoshop. Since the contest's deadline is Aug 1, and I'll be on vacation when it comes, I had to finish this quickly in order to submit it before I leave. In other words...no harsh criticism and such, please. I know it's rough and unrefined. I did work pretty hard on the fire, though, so that's one thing about it that I'm proud of.

Technical: a sketch that was inked with Micron and Staedtler pens, using a light-tracing table; colored in Photoshop with a LaPazz Graphic Tablet.
