How do I even begin describing this strange, bug-eyed creature...? 
For starters, I suppose I should say this thing was a (very belated) birthday present for my sister. She likes cute, friendly looking dragons (unfortunately! 
), and so this is what happened when I sat down to sculpt a cute, friendly dragon. Colors are also some of my sis's faves, so it ended up looking like a snow dragon or something. 
I really should start planning these things out instead of just wingin' it.
Anyway, this thing didn't quite turn out as well as I hoped - mainly, I was trying something new with the eyes and have decided NEVER to do that again. They just weird me out.
Also, it was very hard to photograph well. It didn't matter where I took the pics or what settings I used, nothing seemed to make it any easier. So I hope the photos aren't too terrible. 
Materials: aluminum foil & masking tape base; Sculpey III polymer clay; acrylic paint; DuraClear Satin Varnish; blue showflake-shaped bead

Your cute and friendly looking dragons loving sister is a lucky to have a sister like you who is a master of creating cute and friendly looking dragons. 
This is really adorable and I love the snow theme, including that little snowflake the dragon is holding.
Those silver tipped wings are also cool and look like frosted when glimmering like that.
If the results are as cute as this without planning I don't think you have to worry about planning anything, just keep doing what you're doing right now!
