Baaaad photo, sorry...^^;

Yet another clay charm...a tasty little sandwich cookie with yummy vanilla cream smooshed between two decadent chocolate wafers. My first attempt at a sandwich-style cookie...usually I tend to stick with the easier chocolate-chip style cookies. This came out alright, though, so I might make more in the future. :)

Made with Sculpey III polymer clay, superglue, eye-pin

Comments always welcomed, and any tips/hints/suggestions are always appreciated as I am new to polymer clay and am still learning the ropes. :la:

Cute. How big is it? Quarter? Nickel? Penny? Dime? Euro? What else is there....:plotting:

I haven't had much sculpting experience (not since middle school), so I don't know if I can help you.

Gah, I knew I was forgetting something... ^^;
It's slightly smaller than a penny. Maybe I'll update it with another photo of the charm next to some coins for size reference.

Hehe, I'm in the same boat. I took a pottery class in jr high and that was the last of it until I discovered this polymer clay stuff. :D

Haha, thanks. :D
There's other polymer clay artists out there who can make things look so real you would swear they took an actual item and just shrunk it down to minature size. I'd give you some links, but I can't remember any off the top of my head, except for this club here: #semi-sweeties
They have a whole collection of cute little sweets things made out of clay. :heart:

lol. What would you do without me. :no: That's pretty small. You're making want to sculpt, but I have no place to do it really.

Haha, indeed! :D Yeah, I like to work in small-scale. The only downside to it is when it comes time to paint the things...trying to paint something that small is very...trying at times, to put it nicely. :D

lol, that doesn't stop me! My desk is a first-class mess, but I just toss stuff off or move it somewhere else when I want to sculpt. Hehe, I'm so disorganized...:XD:

Well, you do have have a pin in there. If you could find a way to clamp that in something, yet have it mobile enough for you to paint, something like that should make it easier.

haha, at least you have a desk. I don't even have one anymore. There's no room for it. *sigh*
